Tabanan House Lab is building a system for developing, producing and selling wooden houses for tourist and private sites in Bali. Six demo houses are to be installed on a site in Tabanan; after that, the same models are assembled to order, quickly and repeatably.

A line of repeatable models that can be produced and sold regularly, instead of one-off houses.
About the project
The project splits the work between specialised participants, each responsible for its own part of the chain: product development, production and installation, the demo site and sales.
Together they form one repeatable system: real wooden houses, a demo site where buyers see them, production and sales. A house is made at a factory, assembled on site and can later be taken apart and moved.

Production processes are set up and six demo houses are installed on the site in Tabanan.

Buyers see and assess the real houses on the demo site before ordering.
- 03Assemble to order
The same models are produced and quickly assembled on the buyer's land.

Where the project is now
The site in Tabanan, the production partner and the first house are in place; architecture and 3D models are ready for the first three models. The capital is needed to set up the processes and install six demo houses. The figure is a working estimate and is refined in the individual proposal.
